AI agents for store operations

2 live agents (Store Staff Copilot, Clienteling Assistant) and 4 on the roadmap: what each does, the data it needs and the questions it answers.

Store associates need fast, practical answers on the shop floor: stock, policies and what to show a returning customer.

2 agents you can switch on today

Store Staff Copilot

Store associates ask about products, policies, stock and hours from the shop floor.

Who it's for: Your team (console, API)
Data it needs: Products, Knowledge docs
Tools it uses: semantic product search with filters (price, colour, category); full product details; search over your policies and FAQs, with citations; store finder with live opening hours

Ask it, for example:

  • "A customer wants a black clutch under $50, what do we have?"
  • "What's our exchange policy without receipt?"

Clienteling Assistant

Prepares a client brief (tier, past orders) and suggests products to show a returning customer.

Who it's for: Your team (console, API)
Data it needs: Customers, Orders, Order lines, Products
Tools it uses: customer profile and history; order and delivery status; semantic product search with filters (price, colour, category)

Ask it, for example:

  • "Brief me on customer C-1001 and suggest 3 items to show"

Coming next

  • Opening/closing checklist: Guides daily store routines and logs completion.
  • Planogram compliance: Compares shelf photos with the planogram and lists fixes.
  • Shift handover summariser: Summarises incidents
  • Visual merchandising guide: Suggests window and table displays from bestsellers.

How to turn them on

  1. Load the data each agent needs (upload, API or, soon, a connector to your e-commerce platform).
  2. Open Agent catalog in the ServiceBuddy console: agents whose data is present show as ready.
  3. Install, add your own instructions, and test in the Playground.
