How onboarding works: from first call to live AI agents
The six steps from a first conversation to agents serving your customers: workspace, data, agents, testing, launch and team. Most retailers are live within days.
ServiceBuddy connects to your business through your data, not through a long IT project. Here is the whole path, with a guide for each step.
1. We set up your workspace
Book a demo and we create your workspace with you: company name, main market, currency, languages and brand colour. The workspace owner receives a one-time invitation link (valid 7 days), chooses a password and lands in the console. Every workspace is isolated: its own data store, search index, roles and API keys.
2. Connect your data
Upload products, stores, customers, orders, stock and promotions as Parquet, CSV, TSV or JSON, plus your policies and FAQs as Markdown or text. Your own column names are mapped automatically and you get a data-quality report. → Connect your data
3. Choose your agents
Each agent lists the data it needs and shows ready to install as soon as that data is present. Install it, then add short workspace instructions in your own words. → Install and configure agents
4. Test before you launch
The Playground is a private chat with all your installed agents. It shows which agent answered and which tools it used. → Test in the Playground
5. Go live where your customers are
A branded assistant on your website (one line of code) or a hosted link for social, email, messaging apps and QR codes. Or call the same agents from your own app with the REST API. → Launch the shopper assistant · API keys and integration
6. Bring in your team
Invite colleagues with the right role (owner, admin, analyst, viewer) so merchandising, operations and service teams use their own agents. → Invite your team

What stays the same
- Your systems stay in charge. ServiceBuddy reads the data you send; it doesn't change your e-commerce platform or ERP.
- Rules are enforced by code. Return windows, non-returnable categories and prices come from your settings and data.
- Updates are simple. Upload a table again (or push it through the API) and agents use the new version from the next question.
